Ouch. Just ouch
I started Physical Therapy today for the first time since my last surgery in the spring of '00 - the real "work your ass off and then have tendons stretched you never realized you had" type, not my half-assed home version of the game show.

I can't believe I have the energy/motivation to type the above. The idea that this is going to be twice weekly plus extra at home is somewhat damn straight frightening, but it's all for a good cause. I've had more than enough days of feeling burning acid in my muscles and then suddenly realizing, "Hey, I'm suddenly much closer to the floor than usual and it could stand to be vacuumed."

I deserve an iPod for this. I mean, everyone who works out has an iPod, right? It's Federal Law.

It's time to march on Washington for this issue. "The Million Crip Marc... err, Limp and/or Roll" work for you?

For a moment I thought you meant working out to Limp Bizkit "works".

...had me extremely worried there.

I'll speak To The Man In Charge. He listens to me.

The man.

The man in CHARGE.

...what am I speaking to him about, again?

You're asking Keneally for painkillers. If he's not the Man In Charge, I'm not sure who is.

True - unlike us common folk he has both a manor* as well as a song about it.

I'm your guy?!? Why am I your guy, and when did this happen?

I wonder if it's like "Stately Wayne Manor" in that he has to slide down a pole to get into the Keneally Kave... ;-)

How about "I ordered my MacBook one week too early to get a Free iNano with it"?

Not that I don't already have an MP3 Player, but it would be kinda nice to have one that matches my little white remote.

I know I have no reason to be legitimately pissed, having ordered mine in February.

...but I am. I think Stephanie needs a Black MacBook. I really, really do.

How 'bout I knock off the Apple Store on my way to my volunteer meeting tomorrow night? It's pretty much on my way anyway.

Too late an answer, but if you can fit it into your schedule I'd appreciate it.

60GB and black as Dio's heart if you'll be so kind.

Well, I am there again this Tuesday. But sadly, my feature-obscuring ski mask won't be back from the dry cleaner until Wednesday. Curses!

Actually, an extended response...

Physical Therapy that blew would very much be worth attending...

I just picked up PT again too. More like wieght-lifting and endless crunches, plus stretching if you ask me but they tell me it's therapy. Really I actually feel better. I hope you do too.
I dob't have ipod! Where can I find an old man to buy me one ? :-P.

Pretty much the same on this end along with some balance work - the floor and I have been meeting far too often these days.

Really I actually feel better. I hope you do too.

Thanks, I'm glad you are. It's far too early (2 visits, and they've saying six weeks of intensive before we re-evaluate. Crazy, they are) but I can't imagine not with the effort I'm putting in. I mean, I'm sweating during it. Ecch. ;)

First one to find him informs the other, and we both do him for them. I want my technology, dammit! :D

Physical therapy. lol.
That's all I can think of to say on that one, really. I got told I have to do this whole kafuffle where you sit against a wall and stretch out like you're going to touch your toes or something. Sounds easy. Most odd-feeling thing ever.

Take my advice good sir: Never get an ipod. They're so over-rated and faulty. If you get one, I bet all my cookies that something will go wrong with it in the first two weeks. Get a Zen.

It's all very odd - they expect me to do things that require effort. A meeting must be scheduled to work this out.

...not getting into an iPod/alternate discussion. I believe the fall of the Holy Roman Empire was the fallout of the early disagreements.
