Wendy Carlos -- Title Music from A Clockwork Orange |

I think one line in particular can sum up the whole experience of moving all of our belongings over 100 miles
"U-Haul? Screw this, let's call 'They-Haul" - Eric Cunningham, after helping move our bedroom set down 1 1/2 flights of stairs.
It was a long few days of truck-loading, moving, unloading and unpacking/sorting/organizing (the last of which we're not finished with), but it's all been worth it after we cooked our first meal here. Lord knows I love Stephanie's family, but sharing a house with five other people will strain any relationship regardless of blood ties (or in my case, near blood ties). Finally having a place to ourselves after two summers in the Cunningham household and three semesters on campus is a wonderful thing.
Of course, all this upheaval has confused the hell out of the cat, and she's been extra clingy since arriving here Sunday. Petrucci has always been move affectionate then your average feline, but the past few days have upped the level to dog-like qualities. The perfect example would be when I awoke Monday morning to see the cat sleeping next to me under the comforter with her head on my pillow. And I thought cats were suppose to be aloof...
I know she's beaten me to the punch in posting this news, but on Monday I called keever asked her to be my "best person" at our far on the horizon wedding. I simply can't think of anyone that knows me better. She uses the word honored, but that's more fitting for my emotions. All she has to do is plan the bachelor party...
Which I've decided should have an 80's theme to it. Time to spring for the "Rockin 80's" and "Monster Ballads" collections. ;-)
